Our backtesting service enables you to answer precisely these questions. Strategies created in our bid generator can be evaluated using different parameters and/or different forecasts. With backtesting, you can view the revenues in the capacity market (RLM) and energy market (RAM) incl. the activation rate. This means that nothing stands in the way of refining, optimising revenue or making seasonal adjustments to strategies.

What can our new module do?
Previously, individual strategies could be backtested manually, allowing different strategic views to be tested against each other. We have improved this function as follows:
- Regular energy market calculation according to PICASSO and MARI specifications
- 4-second values instead of 15-minute average values
- marginal-pricing
- Compare up to 5 strategies at once
- Compare strategies from different markets (e.g. FCR vs. aFRR+ or aFRR+ vs. aFRR- or aFRR+ vs. mFRR+
- Create fixed jobs that start automatically every two weeks, once or twice a month
- You will receive the information by email as soon as the calculation is complete.
