The cooperation between KYOS and FlexPowerHub combines the expertise of both companies to optimally market flexible assets in the energy market. Together, we offer a modular solution that is specifically integrated into the existing system landscape via APIs. KYOS contributes its extensive experience in energy marketing and stochastic optimisation techniques, while FlexPowerHub provides innovative support for balancing energy marketing through the use of AI forecasts.
The cooperation is based on a two-stage optimisation process. In the first step centralised data such as the SOC of the BESS, price forecasts and grid restrictions are collected via APIs. This information drives the day-ahead optimisation, which results in schedules for balancing energy and wholesale, supplemented by marginal prices.
In the second stepafter the power auction, the real-time optimisation cycle begins. Here, auction and day-ahead data are integrated into the continuous optimisation of intraday trading. This results in schedules for balancing energy marketing, which are processed flexibly while PowerBot serves the IDC market with the KYOS algorithm.
